Miyagi Goodwill Guide Club (MGGC)

   The Miyagi Goodwill Guide Club (MGGC) is a non-profit volunteer organization established in July 1985 to assist international visitors traveling in Miyagi Prefecture.

   Our goal is to help visitors enjoy a safe and comfortable stay without language barriers by providing volunteer tour guiding, interpretation, and translation services.

   Today, our club has approximately 36 volunteer members who offer services in English, Chinese, French, Italian, Portuguese, Swahili, and several other languages.

We Welcome New Members

   We welcome people who are interested in volunteer guiding and international exchange.  Whether you have studied abroad, enjoy communicating with people from different cultures, or would like to use your language skills, we encourage you to join us.

   Members participate in activities according to their own availability and interests.
